Leakage adhesive

Epoxy adhesive is common for leaking pipes and fittings. Depending on the system pressure and system operating temperature, the type and method of leakage should be specified. EPOLOCK1100F, EPOLOCK6200 and EPOLOCK6300 adhesives are thermally suitable for leaking intermediate operating temperature systems up to a maximum of 60 degrees Celsius.
For balancing operating temperature systems, it is necessary to use EPOLOCK6100 adhesive for leakage, or after leakage with this adhesive, the final repair operation will be done with EPOLOCK2400 adhesive. In terms of pressure, at pressures below 100 PSI, leakage is performed after surface preparation in the manner described using fiberglass adhesive and mesh. In this way, first the flow is stopped by using a piece of wood or any suitable device or some of this glue that is mixed and pressed on the leaking place in the semi-cooked state, after drying and degreasing the place. Sanding and cleaning is done using fiberglass adhesive and mesh according to the figure below leakage. Due to the high speed of gelling of this adhesive, the adhesive is mixed quickly in 30 seconds, the fiberglass mesh is wrapped around the tube and the adhesive is applied on it quickly, and this process is repeated in several stages in 4 alternating layers.
At pressures above PSI 100, leakage is performed using a homogeneous tube amplifier plate as shown below. In this method, first a layer of glue is applied on the reinforcing plate and the center of the plate is pressed on the leak. It must be ensured that at least air trapping occurs in the stage. Then the plate is fixed on the leak until the final cooking of the adhesive with a suitable device such as the picture and the excess adhesive is cleaned quickly.
