Concrete injection adhesive and repair
EPOLOCK 1200 adhesive is a two-component epoxy-based resin with very low viscosity. This resin can be used for injection in concrete cracks and cavities. The penetration of this resin into the concrete is very high and makes the whole concrete completely sealed and strong.
In this method, it is necessary to first seal the crack with EPOLOCK 1100 adhesive, which is a high viscosity anti-slip adhesive. If the crack wall is sloping, it can be ensured that EPOLOCK 1100 adhesive will have a higher adhesion to the concrete around the crack.
Inside the EPOLOCK 1100 adhesive, nipples for injection of the adhesive are planted at intervals of 20 to 40 cm, depending on the depth of the crack. These nipples will be the injection sites of EPOLOCK 1200 adhesive into the crack. In deeper cracks it is necessary to consider the distance of the nipples less. After curing the EPOLOCK 1100 adhesive, the EPOLOCK 1200 adhesive is injected into the crack from the implanted nipples using an injection machine. The adhesive is injected from the lowest nipple and the injection is continued until the injected adhesive is expelled from the adjacent nipple. After this step, the nipple is closed with a screw or other suitable device and this process is repeated for other nipples to fill the crack with glue. In some cases, if the crack is deep, it is necessary to seal the crack on the opposite side of the wall of the injection site with EPOLOCK 1100 glue. The day after injection, the crack site should be cleaned with a pen or a suitable device to create a smooth surface.
EPOLOCK 1500 adhesive is a two-component resin based on low viscosity epoxy. This resin can be used to cover and seal concrete surfaces or inject into concrete microcracks and small cavities in wet and humid conditions, raw concrete or unprepared surfaces. The penetration of this resin into the concrete is very high and makes the whole concrete completely sealed and strong.
